At Causeway Watersports we are proud to provide the BEST Pontoon Boat Rentals in Nags Head and the Outer banks! Cruise around scouting for Dolphin and other wildlife, fish, pack a lunch, swim, or search for treasure.
Our 10 person pontoon boat rentals come with Bimini shade tops, GPS, Hydraulic Steering, Bluetooth stereos, and all safety equipment. Best yet there is no extra charge for Fuel, its included in your rental. We rent for two, four, six, or eight hours. There is no better way to get the whole family or group on the water than on a Pontoon Boat Rental.

Due to the extreme popularity of our pontoon rentals and or specific rental times, reservations are highly recommended. Typically speaking making a reservation several days prior to your expected departure date and time is conducive. (Holidays may require more planning)
We do have a large fleet of boats and will accommodate walk ins or last minute reservations if there is availability.

You don’t need a special boating license to rent from us as we provide detailed operating procedures of the vessel, and where you can and can’t go. To rent you only need a valid drivers license, a credit card (for a damage deposit), and to be at least 18 years old.
However we do encourage getting a boaters safety license to provide better understanding and safety on the water. A free boaters safety coarse can be completed at https://www.boatus.org/northcarolina

Yes, fishing on our boats is allowed. However the state of North Carolina does require a valid NC fishing license for anyone 16 years of age or older. We do not provide an onsite license purchase, but a fishing license can be obtained at https://www.ncwildlife.org/fishing
We do have fishing rod rentals available that can be added to your rental:
We rent 7′ Penn Battle 2 combos that come pre spooled with 20 lbs braid, mono leader, a quick connect swivel shackle, and 5 hooks. Each rod rental is $25 and only valid for the duration of the rental. Additional tackle is for sale at our location.

To rent or operate a Pontoon you must be 18 years of age with a valid drivers license and credit card.

Absolutely, we are a pet friendly operation and allow all well behaved pets on our boats and our location. All we ask is please pick up after your pet, and be prepared for us to give them some extra belly rubs!

All of our pontoon rentals come with Bimini shade tops, that cover approximately the back half of the boat. This is set up standard with all of our rentals.
If you are interested in getting all of the suns rays and working on your tan, simply ask the staff before your departure and we will be happy to accommodate your request.
